It's NOT a Flash Drive. You see a USB stick lying on a desk. You plug it in to see what's inside. Bad move.It is not a storage device. To your computer, this USB device says: "Hello, I am a Keyboard."

Why does this matter? Computers have firewalls to stop viruses, but they Trust Keyboards automatically. The Attack: Since the computer thinks a human is typing, it accepts every command the USB sends.

The HID Attack

1000 Words Per Minute A human types slowly. The Rubber Ducky types at the speed of light. In 5 seconds, it can: - Open the Terminal (CMD). - Disable the Antivirus. - Download a virus and run it. - Close the window.

Hackers use scripts called "Ducky Script" to automate attacks. Steal WiFi Passwords: It grabs all saved passwords and emails them to the hacker. Reverse Shell: It creates a permanent backdoor so the hacker can control the PC remotely later.

What Can It Do?

If you find a USB drive in the parking lot, Leave It. Defense: Organizations use "USB Blockers" to prevent unauthorized devices. Rule: If you didn't buy it, don't plug it.
