The "Lens" is Everywhere. Cameras are getting smaller. They can hide in: – Smoke Detectors – Alarm Clocks – USB Chargers – Two-Way MirrorsBefore you unpack, do a 2-minute sweep.
Camera lenses reflect light differently than plastic. – Action: Turn off all the room lights (make it pitch black). – Step: Turn on your phone's flashlight and slowly scan the room. – Look For: A tiny Blue or Purple reflection. That is the camera lens.
Most modern spy cameras need WiFi to stream video. – Action: Connect to the hotel WiFi. – Tool: Use a free app like Fing or WiFiman. – Result: Look for devices named "IP Camera," "Cam," or strange MAC addresses that aren't your phone or laptop.
Is that mirror in the bathroom real or two-way? – Action: Place your fingertip against the glass. – Real Mirror: There is a gap between your finger and its reflection. – Two-Way Mirror: Your finger touches its reflection directly (No Gap). – Verdict: If there's no gap, leave immediately.
If you find something suspicious: 1. Do not touch it (Fingerprints). 2. Cover it with a towel or tape. 3. Call the Police immediately.
