Walking with Open Doors. You are walking through a mall listening to music. Your phone is in your pocket, locked. You think you are safe. But your Bluetooth is broadcasting a signal. And a hacker sitting on a bench is silently connecting to it.

This is the harmless version. The Attack: A hacker sends an unsolicited message or business card to your device via Bluetooth. The Effect: Your phone beeps and shows a weird message like "You've been hacked." Damage: Annoying, but no data is stolen.

BlueJacking

BlueSnarfing (The Real Threat) This is where it gets dangerous. Hackers use specialized software (like Bluesnarfer on Kali Linux) to force a connection without pairing code. The Theft: They can download your Phonebook, Call Logs, and even read your Text Messages.

You think Bluetooth only works for 10 meters? Wrong. Reality: With a "Directional Antenna" (which looks like a Pringles can), a hacker can steal your Bluetooth data from 1 Mile away. Risk: You don't even need to be near them.

The Sniper Rifle

There is no firewall for Bluetooth. Rule: If you aren't using your headphones, turn Bluetooth OFF. Setting: Ensure your device visibility is set to "Hidden" or "Non-Discoverable."
