You don't need to search the Dark Web to find out. Security expert Troy Hunt created a free tool called: Have I Been Pwned? (HIBP)It collects all these stolen databases into one safe search engine.

The Search Engine for Leaks

Enter Your Email Go to haveibeenpwned.com and type your email address. – Green Screen: Good news. You are safe (for now). – Red Screen: Bad news. It will show you exactly Which Company leaked your data and What was stolen (Password, Phone, DOB).

It’s not just emails. You can check passwords too. – Feature: Click "Passwords" and type a password you use. – Result: It tells you how many times hackers have seen that password. – Example: If you type "123456", it appears 23 Million times.

"Pwned" Passwords
